Statue (from sticking to earth)
I want her
from the first moment -
motionless, nude,
curled on her side,
head folded
into the bend of her arm,
one round breast visible.
A woman, I imagine,
who pays no attention
to detail, gives no thought
to what others need.
Her bronzed body shines:
reminder of my fantasy.
I ask the price and pay it.
