About Melanie Maier

Melanie Stoff Maier was born and raised in San Francisco. She earned a BS from the University of California, Berkeley, a teacher's credential from San Francisco State University, and a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Her poetry has been published in magazines, anthologies, and in July 2008, online. She has published a chapbook, The Art of Everyday, and a book of poems, sticking to earth. A new chapbook, The Land Of Us, has been accepted by Pudding House Publications.
